We’re not here to sell you three versions of the same thing. Focus on a small range means better decisions, better testing, and less waste. Buy once, buy right.
Sustainability
We’re working with a sustainability consultant to guide material choices, packaging, logistics, and energy use. The goal is net zero, and we’re reviewing every part of the business before launch to set a credible plan rather than a vague promise. We’ll publish what we measure and what changes as we go.
Conscious consumption
We’ll order in low volumes and react to demand. It dents our margins, but it’s the sensible move versus over-ordering just to drive unit cost down. We won’t make decisions purely for profit. If you buy from us, the aim is for you to buy once, buy right, own for longer.
How and where we manufacture
The original idea was to manufacture in the UK, but we quickly realised this wasn't going to be a viable option with such a diverse range. The team required would be too big and prices too high compared to the rest of the market. We looked for local options, but most components (and much of the specialist manufacturing) are in Asia. So we followed the supply chain reality.
Our main manufacturing partner is in China. We’ve reviewed their ESG policies and accreditations and they’re satisfactory. Before placing our first production order, we’ll visit the site in person to check conditions and processes ourselves.
